Oversteering and understeering are two terms applied depending on how the steering behaves. Oversteering will occur when the vehicle turns more than the driver's action it while understeering is becoming less than how the driver controls it. The two actions will arise depending on the vehicle’s steering angle and acceleration.
Both the understeer and the oversteer occurs as a because of the difference in slip angles between the front wheels and the rear. Slip angle is that angle difference between the wheel direction and the where the car is heading.
When it comes to understeering, the driver will have a less control at the steering wheel, and when an oversteering happens, the car will spin backside while one is driving through a sharp corner. Understeering will occur when the car front wheels begin to plow straight even if the steering is turned while the oversteer will happen when the rear side of the car has been fishtailed.
