2018 Acura RLX Is NSX-Bred, Boasts New Trim

Available in both Precision All-Wheel Steer and the all-new-for-2018 Sport Hybrid trim, the 2018 Acura RLX says "I'm here" like no other car can. The new RLX, regardless of trim, features a variety of AcuraWatch safety features, plenty of power, and new design inside and out.

The New RLX: What's Different?

Acura's already extensive line of safety features, dubbed AcuraWatch, has typically included Collision Mitigation Braking system with automatic emergency braking, lane departure warning, forward collision warning, lane keep assist, and Road Departure Mitigation, among other programs. But for 2018, a new safety features joins the pack: Traffic Jam Assistant. This helpful new safety technology, working alongside adaptive cruise control, helps your Acura RLX stay in its lane. It also helps maintain a set distance between you and the car in front of you as you cruise down the highway.

The New RLX Is: Super

The 2018 Acura RLX is inspired by the NSX in many ways, like the new exterior design, which features a redesigned hood, new gloss black rear diffuser, LED taillights, and updated materials throughout the interior. The non-hybrid trim gets a substantial 3.5-liter V6 engine, while the Sport Hybrid shares this engine with an additional 47-horsepower electric motor to produce a combined 377-horsepower and 341 pound-feet of torque.

The New RLX is: An Acura

Above all, the new RLX is an Acura. Need we say more to our loyal Acura drivers?
